MOVIES
(Spoiler Alert)
Spider-Man: No Way Home, I haven't watched any of Tom Hollands Spiderman movies because I missed and was upset about Andrew Garfield's being canceled, however considering that Andrew Garfield returned I knew I had to see it. Words can't describe how much I loved the movie, Spiderman is my favorite superhero across the board so seeing Toby, Andrew and their respective villains return was incredible, Andrew saving MJ from a fall had me in tears for like the 3rd time. I loved getting to see and know Toms Pete Parker and aunt may, and his story. I will be watching his films in order soon.
Don't Look Up, Incredible. Stacked cast and super funny. Also sad, but very accurate.
The Many Saints of Newark, I loved this movie because of all the scenes that were things mentioned or stories told in the show. Loved Michael Gandolfini's portrayal of his father's iconic Tony Soprano.
ALBUMS
Positions [Deluxe] by Ariana Grande, The Positions albums itself was a grower on me and in the past year has become my favorite Ariana Grande album, the Deluxe tracks are so fun and I love listening to them, vibing, dancing, studying, driving, to all the songs. They match the tone of the album so well and had a fun collab with Ari, Doja, and Megan, the trio I didn't know I needed. My favorite deluxe track is main thing and test drive.
Sour by Olivia Rodrigo, like everyone I loved this album. All her songs are beautiful, lyrically and musically, nice to listen to. My favorite tracks are Brutal, Jealousy, Jealousy, and Deja Vu.
Planet Her by Doja Cat, I love majority of her music as it is, and Doja killed it again with this album. My favorite tracks are I Don't Do Drugs ft. Ariana Grande, You Right, and Need To Know.
Red (Taylor's Version), I grew up with Taylor's music and Red was an album I specifically remember in my middle school years. I love driving around and listening to the album especially the 10-minute version of All Too Well.
BOOKS
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, I love romantic books and movies. It was such a cute book, I loved reading when they finally confessed their feelings.
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, Not much I can add to what everyone else has said. Great read, tells a story so well.
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, I like YA and fantasy is a hit or miss for me but once I got past the first five chapters of this book I couldn't put it down.
American Royals by Katherine McGee, Loved this book, set in modern-day but if the US had a monarchy. Such a fun read It was like reading the selection with the monarchy part but not dystopian which I loved reading.
TV SHOWS
Only Murders In The Building, I binge-watched this show in November when I was sick and loved it. I loved the start and way the main characters meet. I loved trying to figure out the murder, and the process of them starting their own Podcast as someone who has one herself. I can't wait for the next season after the cliffhanger from the end of the first season.
The Hills, I love reality TV but rarely have time to watch, The Hills has shorter episodes which is easier for me to watch. I loved watching Lauren Conrad in Laguna Beach so I've wanted to watch The Hills from the start and I finally did. It's so fun since I'm the same age as the girls in the first seasons of the show.
Gossip Girl, I was skeptical of the reboot but I enjoyed it. I like having it back, some plots are questionable but I like the fashion and drama. Also modern-day issues (with tech) the OG didn't have. I loved the cameos and mentions to the OGs and hope to see more of the Main Cast appear in the future. I will always prefer the original but this is still fun to watch.
Emily in Paris, This is a guilty pleasure watch for me. I feel it's a little cringe and corny at some parts especially for someone with social media managing experience. But it's fun to watch and some of her outfits are SUPER cute.
